Chapter 4: But we already practice Child Participation

Here’s the truth:

We already practice participation.

Listening.

Pausing.

Reflecting feelings.

But when we name it, value it,  

and do it with intention —
participation grows stronger.

Nurture each moment that offers a choice,
Conveying back to children: “I value your voice.”

We help children grow in a more democratic way.
